We do not label floors "eco-friendly" and leave it there. Each product lists the attributes you can verify, and says plainly when a floor contains PVC or should not go in a wet room.

- Third-party certifications such as GREENGUARD Gold or FloorScore. What each label tests.
- Chemistry
- PVC-free or contains PVC, stated on every product. Phthalate and plasticizer content where the maker reports it.
- Materials
- Renewable and recycled content only as reported by the manufacturer, with the source cited.
- Water
- Waterproof core, water resistant, or keep dry. No blurring between them.
- Origin
- Where it is made, when the manufacturer states it. See our USA-made flooring.
