An American-made alternative to vinyl plank
PureTech is Mohawk's answer to clients who want the convenience of luxury vinyl plank without the PVC. It is a 10 mm click plank with a waterproof rigid core and an attached pad, made in the United States. Mohawk reports 70% total recycled content and a core that is 80% renewable plant-based material, made with a bio-polymer in place of petroleum-based vinyl.
WetProtect covers more than the surface
Mohawk's WetProtect warranty covers the subfloor as well as the surface for the life of the floor, which is unusual. That matters in split-levels and ramblers across Montgomery County and Fairfax, where kitchens and laundry rooms often sit over finished space. We still dry spills promptly and seal the perimeter in full bathrooms, and installation must follow Mohawk's guide for the warranty to apply.
Comfort and sound
The attached Premium Acoustic pad means no separate underlayment in most rooms. If your condo board in Arlington or DC has a specific impact noise rating, send it with your request and we will check it against Mohawk's test data before you order.
